from 2023 as film studio, from 2025 as TV studio

Kendal Avenue in Park Royal has a dog leg bend. On one side can be found Versa London Studios and BBC Park Western and on the opposite side is located a huge former distribution centre that around 2023 became known as Titan Studios. The only production I can find that has used them is The Regime, which was made for Warner Bros. Discovery and starred Kate Winslet. It is available on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK. This series was filmed during 2023 and used many European locations but it appears that their base for interior filming was Titan Studios. Leavesden Studios were also used to film some scenes.
The whole site has over 200,000 sq ft of production space. According to the Locations London website, the facilities include 2 main stages along with a smaller stunt/VFX stage space.
– Stage 1 is 50,000 sq ft, 50ft height
– Stage 2 is 30,000 sq ft, 23ft height
There are also designated hair, make up, production, prop and workshop areas.

I am unclear when this facility became available for filming but I am assuming that The Regime was the first production in 2023 – unless of course you know different. This is of course somewhat surprising, since 2023 was the year of the US actors and writers strikes and most film studios were effectively closed for many months. I have not been able to establish what, if anything was filmed here during 2024. Can you help?
In February 2025 rumours were proved correct and it was confirmed that Big Brother would be moving here in 2025 from its previous home at Garden Studios. It is thought that this facility offers more external space and the producers were keen to be able to stage the eviction shows with a live outdoor audience.
A new ‘silent’ roof was installed in February 2025 by a company called – er – Silent Roof Ltd. They also installed a new roof on the Versa Studios building in 2020. This prevents the sound of heavy rainfall from disturbing filming within the stage.

Then on March 25th, Versa announced that they had acquired this facility. There is now a fibre link between this building and their existing studio across the road, enabling Big Brother and other shows to use the galleries and technical facilities to control productions in this much larger space. The nightly late and live shows will be staged in the Versa London studio itself.
